Haverfordwest
Lawn Tennis Club has been established since 1935 at The Parade
in the centre of Haverfordwest, Pembrokeshire, on the edge
of the beautiful coastal Pembrokeshire National Park. We are
a friendly Club and welcome applications for Membership. Come
along to meet us and Join the Club.
We
maintain a full range of tennis activities for juniors, seniors
and veterans of varying abilities. There are active men's
and ladies' teams and regular social tennis. The four all
weather Club courts are available daily and two Club nights
are held every week throughout the year. Summer Club evenings
for senior and intermediate Members take place on Tuesdays
and Thursdays starting at 6.00 pm from the first Tuesday in
April and continue until mid September. Winter Club evenings
take place at the Haverfordwest Tennis Centre at Tasker Milward
School on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. Junior Club evenings commence
at 4.00 pm on Mondays at the Club during the summer months.
The
Club Pavilion is shared by courtesy of the Bowls Club and
senior Members have social membership of that Club, allowing
access to the bar. Follow the link to see a Map showing the
location.
Regular
singles and mixed doubles competitions run throughout the
Summer months. The annual Pembrokeshire Senior and Junior
Tournaments are hosted by the Club. Visit our diary of Events
for a full view of Club activities for senior Members.
The
Club pays special attention to Coaching juniors and provides
them with an opportunity to play tennis regularly.
